Behind the gate.

A garden, a trellis of vines, and a small crew who would rather make a few things well than a lot of things fast.

It starts in the garden.

Redcoat Syndicate is a small company based in Dallas, Texas. We grow luffa, the gourd whose dried insides make one of the oldest natural scrubbers there is, and we turn it into a short list of things for the bath and shower.

The idea was simple. Most of what we wash with is plastic: mesh poufs, synthetic sponges, all of it destined for a landfill. A luffa does the same job, grows on a vine, and goes back to the earth when it is finished. We wanted to make that the easy choice.

Intentional, on purpose.

We make small batches because it lets us pay attention. We cure each luffa ourselves, cut each cutlet by hand, and pour our goat milk soap around a slice of the luffa we grew. Nothing here is rushed, and nothing is made to be thrown away.

Everyday rituals.

The best self-care is rarely dramatic. It is the minute in the shower you actually notice. We make things meant to be used every day, and to be missed when they are gone.

The syndicate.

Two people, two poodles named Remy and Benny, and a garden. The emblem is theirs: the dogs run the vines, and a luffa is the prize. The word beneath them is our whole philosophy: unbound from the synthetic, the disposable, and the ordinary.
